    Job Description :

    Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment in Level - ‘2’ Posts in the initial pay in 7th CPC and Level - ‘1’ Posts in the initial pay in 7th CPC, in Southern Railway and ICF, Scouts & Guides quota for the year 2024 - 2025.

    Scouts & Guides: 17 Vacancies

    Southern Railway: 14 Vacancies
    ICF: 03 Vacancies

    Eligibility Criteria:- 

    Level 2: Candidates must have passed 12th (+2 stage) from a recognized board or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks.
    OR
    Passed Matriculation from a recognized board plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship for technician categories.
    OR
    Passed Matriculation from recognized board plus ITI approved by NCVT for technician categories.

    Level 1: Candidates must have a 10th pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
    OR
    10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
    OR
    10th pass plus ITI

    Scouting: Candidates must be a President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder in any section, have been active in a Scouts organization for the last 5 years (with a Certificate of Activeness), and have attended two National/ All Indian Railways events and two State Level events.

    Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

    Selection Process: Candidates for the Scouts & Guides Quota will be selected on the basis of a Written Test (60 marks) and Marks on Certificates (40 marks). The written test consists of 40 objective questions (40 marks) and 1 essay-type question (20 marks) on Scouts & Guides activities and general knowledge, with a 1/3rd mark deduction for wrong answers.

    Application Fee: Rs.500 for all candidates.
    Rs.250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PwBDs, Female/ Transgender, Minorities, and Economic Backward Classes.
    Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
