UPSC Central Armed Police Forces Exam 2026 Application Form

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2026.

All candidates are requested to carefully read the Rules of Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2026 [CAPF(ACs) Exam, 2026] notified by the Government (Ministry of Home Affairs) and this Notice of Examination derived from these Rules. The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 01-08-2026. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 2001 and not later than 1st August 2006. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination, Physical Standards Tests/Physical Efficiency Tests, Interview/Personality Test, followed by the Medical Standards Tests.

The merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Interview/ Personality Test.

Application Fee: Rs. 200 for appearing in CAPF (ACs) Exam, 2026
Female, SC/ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.
The candidate recommended paying the examination fee online.
