South Central Railway invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement/ training as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board and also possess ITI Certificate in the trade notfied from the institutes recognised by NCVT/ SCVT. 

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years as on 11-04-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on the merit list. The merit list will be prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both 10th Class/ matriculation and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. 

Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
SC/ ST/ PWD and Women candidates are exempted from such payment of application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
