Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess 12th grade or an equivalent secondary school qualification from a recognized educational institution.
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 33 as of 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.
Selection Process: The examination will be conducted in two stages. The first stage, Computer Based Test 1, will consist of 100 marks, comprising 40 marks for General Awareness, 30 marks for Mathematics, and 30 marks for General Intelligence and Reasoning. Candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to complete this stage.
Successful candidates from Computer Based Test 1 will proceed to the second stage, Computer Based Test 2.
CBT 2 will also be of 120 marks, with 50 marks allocated to General Awareness, 35 marks to Mathematics, and 35 marks to General Intelligence and Reasoning. Candidates will once again have 90 minutes to complete this stage.
For the positions of Account Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist, a qualifying Typing Skill Test (TST) will be conducted after candidates clear CBT 2.
Note: There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Completion of Number and Alphabetical Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, Data Sufficiency, Statement- Conclusion, Statement- Courses of Action, Decision Making, Maps, Interpretation of Graphs etc.
General Awareness: Current Events of National and International Importance, Games and Sports, Art and Culture of India, Indian Literature, Monuments and Places of India, General Science and Life Science (up to 10th CBSE), History of India and Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India and World, Indian Polity and Governance- constitution and political system, General Scientific and Technological Developments including Space and Nuclear Program of India, UN and Other important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning India and World at Large, Basics of Computers and Computer Applications, Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems in India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities of India and World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora and Fauna of India, Important Government and Public Sector Organizations of India etc

Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk: Pay Level 3, ₹21,700
Accounts Clerk Cum Typist: Pay Level 2, ₹19,900
Junior Clerk Cum Typist: Pay Level 2, ₹19,900
Trains Clerk: Pay Level 2, ₹19,900
Application Fee: ₹500 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and ₹250 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Minorities, or Economically Backward Class candidates.

The fees can be paid only ONLINE through Net banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI services.Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable from the candidate in addition to the fees.
First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Based Typing Skill Test (as applicable), Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME).
There will be negative marking @1/3rd mark for every wrong answer in CBT.
Yes, candidates are advised to indicate their order of preference for as many posts as they are eligible for in the chosen RRB. Candidates with partial preferences will only be considered for the specific Railway Zones and posts/categories they have opted for, subject to vacancy availability at the time of allotment. If no preference is given for certain posts/categories, it will be considered as their unwillingness for those posts. Once preferences are submitted, they are final, and no changes will be entertained.
No refund of fee will be made on account of rejection of applications.
