HPPSC Recruitment 2024: Section Officer, Assistant Manager, Secretary Vacancies

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of

• Assistant Manager (Finance) in Himachal Pradesh Infrastructure Development Board under the Department of Finance, H.P for Level - 12 of Pay Matrix (Rs. 43000 - 136000).

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification: Candidate must possess a B.Com and M.B.A. in Finance. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of working experience in Infrastructure projects, finance, taxation commercial matters, etc.

Selection Process: The candidate will be selected by two types of written papers/ tests to be conducted on the same day in two sessions.

Paper-I: A Computer Based Test (CBT) or Offline Screening Test of 100 marks with negative marking for incorrect/ wrong answers(General knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, General knowledge of National and International Affairs, Knowledge of Hindi language, and Knowledge of English language)

Paper-II: A descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) of three hours duration having 120 marks as per the syllabus to be decided by the Commission.

• Section Officer HPF and AS in Treasuries, Accounts, and Lotteries (Finance And Accounts) for Pay Band Level - 13 (Rs. 46000 - 146500).

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification: The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with regular service in the Department/ Board/ Corporation/ Autonomous Body/ University/ Co-operative Bank of the State of Himachal Pradesh.

Selection Process: The candidate will be selected by two types of written papers.

Preliminary Entrance Examination: In the (offline/online) Screening Test (objective type) there will be 120 questions of 01 mark each based on the syllabus approved in the R&P Rules for the post.

Syllabus for Preliminary Entrance Examination: Fo English and Hindi 40 questions, Omnibus Accounts 40 questions, and FRSR & HPFR, 2009 40 questions.

Syllabus for Main Examination: Paper-I English and Hindi Precis, letter writing, noting and drafting, and other general questions to test the candidate’s ability to write correct English/Hindi. The questions from English/ Hindi will carry 75 marks each.

Paper-II Omnibus Accounts Questions will be on Rules relating to Pay Fixation, Pension, T.A., LTC, Leave, and GPF.

Paper-III FR, SR and Himachal Pradesh Financial Rules (HPFR), 2009. Questions will be on Fundamental Rules & Supplementary Rules and Himachal Pradesh Financial Rules, 2009

• Secretary in Department of Agriculture for Pay Band Level - 16 (Rs. 48700 - 154300).

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification: The candidate must possess an M.Sc.(Agriculture / Horticulture) or B.Sc.(Agriculture / Horticulture) followed by an MBA preferably in Agriculture Business from a recognized University / Institution.

Selection Process: 

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 45 as of 01-01-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Application Fee: Rs. 150 for Male candidates of SC, ST, OBC, and EWS covered under UR – BPL categories of Himachal Pradesh and Ex-Servicemen candidates of Himachal Pradesh belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories.

Rs. 150 for Male candidates of General, General Physically Disabled (orthopedically disabled, Deaf & Dumb and Hearing Impaired), Economic Weaker Section (EWS) (not included in BPL category), Wards of Freedom Fighter categories (WFF) and General –Ex-Servicemen of Himachal Pradesh and Candidates of Other States.

The Ex-Servicemen male candidates of Himachal Pradesh and women candidates are exempted from the application fee.
