Job Description :

The Gauhati High Court at Guwahati invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment from the practicing Advocates for appointment to Grade-I of Assam Judicial Service.

Judicial Service: 12 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a graduate degree in Law from a recognized University.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 35 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 45 years as on 17-11-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Preliminary Examination (Screening Test) for 100 marks, a Main (Written) Examination followed by a Personal Interview for 50 marks.

Pay Scale: 1,44,840 - 1,94,6601/- per month

Application Fee: Rs.500/- for ST/ SC category candidates and Rs.1000, for other category candidates.
PwBD categories candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
