The Gauhati High Court at Guwahati invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of a Judicial Assistant in the Itanagar Permanent Bench of the Gauhati High Couft at Naharlagun.

Judicial Assistant: 05 Vacancies

Last Date for Payment of Application Fees: 11-12-2025

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognized University.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 50 years. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and Interview/ Viva-Voce.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 04

Application Fee: Rs.250/- for APST category candidates
Rs.500, for All other category candidates
PwBD categories candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.

Group D: 09 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

Judicial and Library Assistant Posts: Candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognized University.

Group D Posts: Candidates must have passed the class 8th.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 04-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview.

Pay Level 01 for Group D Posts
