Bihar Staff Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Junior Statistical Officer/ Block Statistical Officer under Directorate of Economics and Statistics (Planning and Development Department), Bihar.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree from a recognized University with Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 37 years as on 01-08-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination.

Scale of Pay: Pay Level of 07

Application Fee: Rs.540 for Male candidates of General Category/ Backward Class/ Extremely Backward Class/ all category candidates (Male/ Female) from outside Bihar state
Rs.135 for SC/ ST/ disabled persons/ Women of Bihar  category candidates
