Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRCL) Limited, a 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) jointly owned by the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, is entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the Ahmedabad metro rail project, Surat metro rail project, and its Operations and Maintenance.

Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRCL) Limited invites online applications from eligible candidates for various Non-Executive posts in operations and maintenance of Ahmedabad Metro Rail & Surat Metro Rail on a contractual basis.

Eligibility Criteria:

Station Controller/ Train Operator, and Junior Engineer Posts: The candidate must have completed Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline from a Government Recognized University/ Institute.

Maintainers Posts: The candidate must have passed SSLC pass with ITI (Two Years) in Fitter from a Government Recognized University/ Institute.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years (25 years for Maintainer) as on 29-04-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process:

For the post of Station Controller cum Train Operator (SC/TO): Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Psycho Aptitude Test followed by Document Verification & Medical examination in Aye-One (A-1) category.

For the post of Jr. Engineers and Maintainers: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test followed by Document verification & Medical examination in Aye-one (A-1) category, not below Aye-Three (A-3) category.

Consolidated Salary after Training:
Rs.20,000/- for Station Controller/ Train Operator, and Junior Engineer Posts
Rs.16,000/- for Maintainer Posts

Rs.300/- for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ EWS/ Women/ Ex-servicemen candidates
