  Job Description :

  Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2024 for recruitment to Group C Posts.

  Record Keeper / Record Clerk / Computer Operator: 16 Vacancies
  Lower Division Clerk: 10 Vacancies

  Eligibility Criteria:
  Compositor (Grade-II): HSLC (Class 12) pass with 5 (five) years of experience and fair knowledge of printing type and hand composing method.
  Pay Scale: Level 2: Rs 19900 - Rs 63200

  Copy Holder: HSLC (Class 12) pass with fair knowledge of English.
  Pay Scale: Level 2: Rs 19900 - Rs 63200

  Proofreader: HSLC or PUC (Class 12) passed with two years of experience in proofreading.
  Pay Scale: Level 4: Rs 25500 - Rs 81100

  Dissection Hall Attendant: 10+2 with Science from a recognized Board
  Pay Scale: Level 2: Rs 19900 - Rs 63200

  Forester: 12th standard or equivalent pass with Science from a recognized board or institute.
  Pay Scale: Level 4 Rs 25500 - Rs 81100

  Record Keeper / Record Clerk / Computer Operator: Candidates must pass the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board or possess a one-year Diploma course in Computer application. 
  Pay Scale: Level 4 Rs 25500 - Rs 81100

  Lower Division Clerk: Candidate must have a class-12th pass certificate from a recognized board or institution, and must possess a typing speed of 35 words per minute on a computer on an average of Key depressions for each word, or a minimum six months Diploma in Computer application from a recognized board or institute duly recognized by the Arunachal Pradesh Council for Technical Education/ AICTE.
  Pay Scale: Level 4 Rs 25500 - Rs 81100

  Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as of 07-08-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.
      
  Selection Process: The selection process will be conducted in two stages
  Stages:1 
  Total Marks: 200 from General Awareness - 50 Marks, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability - 50 Marks, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability - 50 Marks, English Language and Comprehension - 50 Marks

  A candidate must secure a minimum of 33% in each subject in the written examination paper. Candidates securing less than 33% of marks in any subject shall be deemed not eligible for selection. There is no negative marking.

  Stages:2 
  (a) Skill test for post-Record Keeper / Record Clerk / Computer Operator and post Lower Division Clerk only

  A candidate will be selected based on 35 words per minute corresponds to 10500 key depression per hour (KDPH) on an average of 5 key depression for each word 

  (b) Physical standard test (PST) and Physical efficiency test (PET) for post-Forester   

  Physical Standard Test (PST):
  For APST Males:
  (1) Height: 152 cm
  (2) Chest: 79 cm (Normal), 84 cm Expanded

  For APST Females:
  (1) Height: 145 cm
  (2) Chest: 74 cm (Normal), 79 cm Expanded

  For UR/Non-APST Males:
  (1) Height: 163 cm
  (2) Chest: 79 cm (Normal), 84 cm Expanded

  For UR/Non-APST Females:
  (1) Height: 150 cm
  (2) Chest: 74 cm (Normal), 79 cm Expanded

  Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  For Male candidates: A walk of 25km should be completed in four hours
  For Female candidates: A walk of 14km should be completed in four hours

  Application Fee: Rs. 200/- for General Candidates, Rs. 150 for APST. Persons with disabilities (PwD) are exempted from payment of the application fee.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
