Job Description :

Western Coalfields Limited invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Graduate/ Technician Apprentices for a period of one year under the provisions of the Apprentice Act 1961.

316 Apprentices

Graduate Apprentices: 101 Positions
Technician Apprentices: 215 Positions

Important Dates:
Commencement of Online Application: 15-10-2024
Last Date of Online Application: 28-10-2024

Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate Apprentices: Candidates must possess a full-time Degree course B.E/ B.Tech in Mining Engineering from institutions duly recognized by UGC/ AICTE/ State Government/ Central Government and candidates must enrolled at NATS 2.0 portal.

Technician Apprentices: Candidates must possess a Diploma in Mining Engineering or Mining surveying institutions duly recognized by UGC/ AICTE/ State Government/ Central Government and candidates must enroll at the NATS 2.0 portal.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 years as on 28-10-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will selected on the basis of a merit list. Selection shall be made based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

First Priority: NATS Enrolment Number of the candidates of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh State, they will be invited in the first priority order for the selection process.

Second Priority: Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Goa, and Daman Diu, which are from the other states of BOAT Mumbai (Western Region), will be invited in second priority order for the selection process if required.

Third priority: Candidates from other states will be invited for the selection process in third priority order if required.

The eligible candidate shall be called for document verification at the establishment office.

The final selection of the candidates for each seat shall be made after verification of documents and found fit in medical examination.

After document verification and obtaining medical fitness certificate the candidates shall be selected for training, based on merit and apprentice engagement letter shall be issued.

Period of Training: 12 Months

Stipend: Rs. 9000/- per month for Graduate Apprentices
Rs. 8000/- per month for Technician Apprentices

Application Process: Eligible candidate are required to register themselves on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/).

Further, they have to apply in the web application available at the official portal of WCL (www.westerncoal.in) on or before last date of submission.

902 Apprentices

ITI Passed Trade Apprentices: 841 Positions
Fresher Trade Apprentices: 61 Positions

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 20 years as on 28-10-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will selected on the basis of merit. Candidates having domicile of the district takes first prefernce.

Period of Training: 12 Months

Stipend: Rs 7700/- per month for One year's ITI (SCVT/NCVT)
Rs 8050/- per month for Two year's ITI (SCVT/NCVT)
Rs 6000/- for Fresher per month

Application Process: Eligible candidates are required to register themselves on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/).
