Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is a statutory body established under an Act of Parliament, viz., the TRAI Act, 1997. TRAI was established to regulate Telecommunications Services, protect the interest of service providers and consumers and to promote/ensure orderly growth of the telecom sector. TRAl's key functions include tariff regulation, fostering fair competition, ensuring quality of service, monitoring compliance with license conditions, and encouraging technological advancement. The functions relating to regulation of Broadcasting and Cable Services sectors have also been entrusted to TRAI since 2004. Additionally, TRAI advises the government on policy matters and issues recommendations to enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and affordability of telecom and broadcasting services in India. 

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) invites online applications from eligible candidates for Direct recruitment and by transfer in the cadre of Civil Judges (Junior Division) in the Telangana State Judicial Service, in terms of the Telangana State Judicial (Service and Cadre) Rules, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must posses a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.

Candidate should have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE- 2023/ 2024/ 2025 as shown in the following table and Qualified in the same. The qualifying marks shall be as declared by GATE-2023/ 2024/ 2025 Organizing Body.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 31-10-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE-2025/ GATE-2024/ GATE-2023 score aggregate of 80% weightage of marks and 20% weightage of marks in the Personal Interview.
