RPSC Recruitment 2026: 13 Inspector of Factories Vacancies

Rajasthan Public Service Commission, Ajmer, invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Inspector of Factories under the Rajasthan Factory and Boilers Inspector and Factory Inspector (Chemical) Service Rules, 1958, for the Factory and Boilers Inspection Department.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a degree in Mechanical or Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent.
And
Two years of experience as technical personnel in the design, construction, erection, operation, testing, repair, maintenance or inspection of boilers or in the implementation of the Boilers Act, 1923, and rules and regulations framed thereunder.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 23 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2027. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through a written examination. If necessary, the Commission may employ scaling, moderation, or normalization methods in evaluating answer sheets.

Pay Scale: Level-14

Application Fee: Rs. 600/- for General (Unreserved)/ Creamy Layer of Backward Class/ Creamy Layer of Most Backward Class Candidates
Rs. 400/- for Reserved Category (SC/ ST/ Disabled/ Backward Class - Non-Creamy Layer/ Very Backward Class - Non-Creamy Layer/ EWS/ Sahriya Area) Candidates.
