RITES Limited Contractual Recruitment 2026: 400 Engineering Professionals

RITES Ltd., a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, invites online applications from eligible candidates on a contractual basis for the post of Assistant Manager in multiple domains.

Assistant Manager: 400 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Must hold a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering/Technology discipline (as per the discipline applied for). Candidates with higher qualifications in the same discipline are also eligible.
• Candidates belonging to the General/EWS category must have a First-class Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks), and for the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD), a minimum of 50% marks. 
• Must have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification work experience in a relevant discipline.
• Degree must be from an institution recognized by AICTE / Government of India (or equivalent under specified recognition norms). 

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 25-12-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Test followed by an Interview.

Scheme of Examination:

• Written Test: 125 objective-type questions, each of 1 mark. No negative marking.
•  Duration 2.5 hours.PwBD candidates get an extra 50 minutes. 
• Interview: Candidates shortlisted in a ratio of 1:6 (approx.) of the number of vacancies. 
• Weightage: Written test- 60%, Interview -40%
• Minimum qualifying marks: Written test: 50% (UR/EWS)for unreserved and 45% (SC/OBC/PwBD) for reserved posts; Interview: 60% (UR/EWS) for unreserved and 50% (SC/OBC/PwBD) for reserved posts. 
• Final selection on overall merit.

Syllabus:

• Quantitative Aptitude (around 35 Questions)- mathematical reasoning and problem solving
• Data Interpretation (around 35 Questions)
• Logical Reasoning (around 35 Questions)
• Basic Awareness/ General Knowledge (around 20 Questions)- Current affairs and static GK

Pay Scale: Pay Level - 05

Application fee: Rs.600/- for General/ OBC categories.
Rs.300/- for EWS/SC/ST/PwBD and Female categories are exempted from payment of any application fees.
