Rajasthan High Court Recruitment 2025: Stenographer Vacancies

Rajasthan High Court invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Stenographer Grade III (Hindi/English) in District Courts and Stenographer Grade-II (Hindi) in District Legal Services Authorities (including Permanent Lok Adalats) through the Joint Competitive Examination, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination in Arts or Science or Commerce of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or an Examination equivalent thereto recognized by the Government or any Higher Examination and;
Candidates must possess a good working knowledge of Hindi as written in Devanagri script & of Rajasthani Dialects and;
Candidates must have passed "O" or Higher Level Certificate Course conducted by DOEACC under the control of the Department of Electronics, Government of India
or
Candidates must have passed Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation & Computer Software. (DPCS) certificate organized under National/State council of Vocational Training Scheme
or
Candidates must have passed Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application from any university established by Law in India or from an institution recognized by the Government
or
Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a Polytechnic Institution recognized by the Government
or
Candidates must have passed the Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) Conducted by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota under the control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited
or
Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination with Computer Science as an optional subject
or
Any equivalent or higher qualification.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process:

Competitive Examination for the posts of Stenographers Grade-III/ Stenographers Grade-II shall consist of the subject given in two alternative Groups A (English Shorthand Test) and B (Hindi Shorthand Test). A candidate shall be required to pass the subject group of the post applied and required to pass Group C (Computer Test). Candidates will be called for interview according to their preference equal to the total number of vacancies. There are no marks for the interview.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 10

Application Fee: Rs.750/ for General Category/ Other Backward Class (Creamy Layer Category)/ Most Backward Class (Creamy Layer Category)/ Other State Candidates.
Rs.600/ for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer Category)/ Most Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer Category)/ EWS candidates of Rajasthan State
Rs.450/ for PwD/ SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen candidates of Rajasthan State
