Job Description

RailTel Corporation of India Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Government of India, invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment in the Technical Department of RailTel Corporation (Data Centre Posts).

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg) in Electronics & Telecom/ Telecom/ Computer Science/ Computer & Communication/ Information Technology/ Electrical/ Electronics/ any other combination of Engineering branches, where Electronics/ IT/ Computer Science is one of the branches.

Candidate must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as required professional qualifications, experience, if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post. 

Pay Scale
Deputy Manager (E1)  -  ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000
Manager (E2) -   ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000
Senior Manager (E3)  -  ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000

Age Limit:

The minimum age for Deputy Manager Posts is 21 years, and the maximum is 30 years. 
The minimum age for the Manager Post is 23 years, and the maximum is 31 years.
The minimum age for the Senior Manager Posts is 23 years, and the maximum is 31 years.

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview only. Total marks for the interview shall be 100, and the qualifying marks are 60%.
Skill tests/ written tests may also be conducted depending on the number of applications received.

Place of Posting: Selected candidates may be posted/ transferred to any place in India, in any office of RailTel Corporation of India Limited.

Probation: Two years from the date of joining RailTel.

Pay Scale: Rs.40,000-1,40,000/- for Deputy Manager posts
Rs.50,000- 1,60,000/- for Manager posts
Rs.60,000-1,80,000/- for Senior Manager posts

Application Fee: A bank draft for Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 600 for SC/ ST/ PwBDs) in favor of ‘RailTel Corporation of India Limited’ payable at New Delhi.
