Rail Coach Factory (Kapurthala) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Apprentices for imparting training in Technical Training Centre, Rail Coach Factory (Kapurthala) under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 20 Positions
Electronic Mechanic: 20 Positions

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from a recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 years as on 07-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit List. The merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% of aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done. 

Application Fee: Rs.100/-
SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee
