JKSSB Recruitment 2026: 600 Accounts Assistant Vacancies

The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Accounts Assistant in Finance Department.

Accounts Assistant: 600 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks for Open merit and 45% marks for Reserved categories. However, candidates having post graduation degree with 50% marks or holding a PhD degree shall also be eligible for selection. 

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Scheme of Examination: The Examination will consist of Objective Type and multiple choice Questions. The questions will be set in English Language only.

There will be a Negative Marking for each wrong answer to the extent of one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question.

Pay Scale: Pay Level - 05

Application fee: Rs.500/- for SC/ ST/ EWS/ PwBD category candidates
Rs.600/- for all other candidates
