Indian Navy SSR Recruitment Batch 02/2025, 02/2026 Application Form

The Indian Navy invites online applications from unmarried male candidates to join its ranks as sailors in the Medical Branch for SSR (Med) in 02/ 2025 & 02/ 2026 batches.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from the Boards of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India with 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 40% in each subject. Candidates must be medically fit as per Indian Navy standards.

Age Limit: SSR (MED) 02/2025 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Sep 2004–29 Feb 2008 (Both dates inclusive).

SSR (MED) 02/ 2026 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Jul 2005–31 Dec 2008 (Both dates inclusive).

Selection Process: The selection process consists of three stages:

Stage 1: Indian Navy Entrance Test

The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions.
The candidates are required to pass in all sections as well as in aggregate.

Stage 2:
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Written Exam (objective type, covering English, Science, Biology, General Awareness/Reasoning Ability)
Medical Examination

Stage 3: Merit List: A statewide merit list of candidates will be prepared based on performance in Stage 2, subject to qualification in PFT and medical examination. 

Stipend: Rs.14,600 per month during initial training.
Upon successful completion of training, placement in Level 3 of the Defense Pay Matrix (Rs.21,700 - 69,100) with additional allowances as applicable.
