Selection Process: The selection process for the Indian Navy SSC includes shortlisting of applications based on normalized marks from the qualifying degree.
Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech with minimum 60% marks. Candidates who are in the final year of B.E./B.Tech, marks of up to the 5th semester will be considered for the selection of SSB Interview.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email or SMS for the SSB interview. The merit list will be based on SSB performance, subject to medical clearance and available vacancies.
Eligibility Criteria:
General Service (GS(X)/ Hydro Cadre): Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
Pilot and Naval Air Operations Officer: Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks, and 60% aggregate in Class X and XII, with 60% in English in Class X or XII.
Air Traffic Controller (ATC): Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks.
Logistics: Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech with First Class, MBA with First Class, or B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (IT) with First Class and PG Diploma, or MCA/M.Sc (IT) with First Class.
Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC): Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech with 60% marks in specified engineering fields or a postgraduate degree in Electronics/Physics. 60% in Class X, XII, and English.
For the Education Branch: Candidate must possess an M.Sc in Maths/Operational Research/Physics/Chemistry with 60% marks or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical with 60% marks, or M.Tech in relevant fields. Must also have 60% marks in Class X, XII, and English.
For the Technical Branch:
Engineering: Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech in disciplines such as Mechanical, Marine, Instrumentation, Aeronautical, etc., with 60% marks.
Electrical: Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, etc., with 60% marks.

Training: Candidates will be inducted in the rank of sub Lieutenant subject to clearing of induction medical examination at INA, Ezhimala post reporting.
Probation Period: Three years for SSC (NAIC) officers and two years for other branches/ cadres officers.
