IIT Guwahati Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Junior Engineer (Trainee) in the Infrastructure Planning and Management (IPM) Section at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.

These are purely temporary post under contractual appointment. The contract period will be for one year and can be extended based on satisfactory performance and the requirements of the Institute.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a Three-year Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Candidates having prior field experience in areas such as building maintenance, preparation of technical estimates, tender preparation, and other site-related works will be given preference.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years as on 17-02-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Remuneration: Rs. 25,000
