Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Scientific Assistant (Digital Forensics) as Job Trainee under different departments in Himachal Pradesh.

Scientific Assistant: 01 Vacancy

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have possess atleast a 2nd-class Master's Degree in Forensic Science/ Digital Forensics & Information Security/ Master of Computer Application (MCA) from any recognized University.
OR
At least a 2nd Class Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science/Computer Application (BCA)/ Engineering with Computer Science or Electronics of Information and Technology (IT) or Electronic Communication from a recognized University.
AND

• Two years of analytical experience issued by the research supervisor or Head of the organization /Department in the relevant field.
• Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 45 years as on 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Computer-based Test (CBT)/ Screening Test

• Total Questions- 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQ), with each question carrying half (½)  mark.
• Time-  2 hours

Syllabus:

1. Up to Subjects(s)/field(s) concerned are prescribed as essential qualifications (140 questions). 
2. General Knowledge, including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, and Current Affairs.

Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric Standard. (Totaal- 60 questions)
