CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), a constituent Laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is an R&D organization dedicated to metallurgical and materials engineering research. Eligibility Criteria:

For Post Code M 01: Candidates must have passed 10th/matriculation or its equivalent examination from a recognised board. 

For Post Code M 02 - 07: Candidates must have passed ITI in Electrician/ Carpenter/ Fitter/ Plumber/ AC & Refrigeration/ COPA Trade.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 06-02-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Competitive Written Examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.

Mode of Examination: Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination

Medium of Questions: The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except the questions on English language

Standard of Exam: Class Xth (Matriculation)

Subjects: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language

Total No. of Questions: 150

Total time allotted: 2 hours

Pay Scale: Pay Level 01
