Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or allied subjects from recognized University.

Hindi language proficiency at Class 10 level or equivalent

Candidates must have a valid domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh (for reserved category candidates)

Desirable:
Candidates must have knowledge of farming practices and rural development
Candidates must have working knowledge of agricultural schemes and programs
Candidates also have Computer proficiency and MS Office knowledge

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-01-2026. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the Prelims Written Exam, Mains exam, and the Interview. The preliminary exam is qualifying. Candidates selected on the basis of the preliminary will be allowed to appear in the mains examination followed bya  personal interview.

Preliminary Examination: Objective type with multiple choice questions
Total 100 questions of 200 marks, Duration: 2 hours
Negative Marking: 1/3 marks deducted for each wrong answer
Candidates who qualify the preliminary examination will be eligible for main examination

Mains Written Exam: Written examination on subjects related to agriculture and extension

Interview/ Personality Test: Qualified candidates from main examination will be called for an interview

Final selection will be based on the combined performance in main examination and interview.

Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 - 39,100/-

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for UR/ OBC/ EWS candidates
Rs. 250 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates
