DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025-26 Application Form

Government of Assam, Office of the Director of Elementary Education, Assam, invites online applications from eligible candidates who are qualified in Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), for the recruitment of Special Educators in Lower Primary (LP) Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Special Educators in Lower Primary (LP) Schools: 120 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India-RCI.

Candidates possess Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) with Assam TET or Central TET will also be eligible for applying for Lower Primary. 

The candidate must have the ATET/CTET passed certificate for LP Schools.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 40 years as on 01-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit List.

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 - 70,000/-
