Online applications are invited from eligible sportspersons candidates for recruitment to Posts in Pay Matrix Level-1 to Pay Matrix Level-5 of 7th C.P.C. in Southern Railway, Sports Quota under Open Advertisement scheme for the year 2024-25.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, sports eligibility and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as of 01-01-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on trials. Trials of the eligible candidates shall be conducted to assess the sports performance and suitability.

This selection process contains total of 100 marks, for game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation during trials 40 marks, for assessment of recognised sports achievements as per norms 50 marks, and educational qualification 10 marks.

Pay Scale:
Level – 1 Rs. 18,000/- Per month
Level – 2 Rs. 19,900/- Per month
Level – 3 Rs. 21,700/- Per month
Level – 4 Rs. 25,500/- Per month
Level – 5 Rs. 29,200/- Per month

Application Fee: Rs 500/- for all candidates, and Rs 250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Women/ Ex. Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities/ Economically Backward Classes.
