The DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory – Artificial Intelligence (DYSL-AI) is seeking young, talented Indian nationals to join as Junior Research Fellows (JRF). The lab is at the forefront of AI research, focusing on deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and reinforcement learning to advance defense applications. This role will allow you to contribute to groundbreaking research and shape the future of AI in defense technologies.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must possess a graduate degree (B.E/B.Tech) in first division with NET/GATE qualification or a postgraduate degree (M.E/M.Tech) in a professional course, also in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels. Alternatively, candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Science with NET qualification and first division are also eligible.
Age Limit: Candidates must have not crossed the maximum age of 28 years. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.
Selection Process: The selection process consists of three stages.
Candidate will shortlisted based on GATE scores or qualifying degree marks, an online coding exam tentatively scheduled for 19-01-2025. Those who qualify will proceed to the online coding exam, which will test their technical skills. Selected candidates will be invited for a personal interview, which can be conducted either in person or via video conference, depending on logistical considerations.
Remuneration: Rs.37,000/- per month HRA is also available.

Eligibility Criteria:
Research Associate (RA): Candidate must possess a Ph.D. (Engineering/Science) in a relevant field (Optics, Electronics, etc.) OR 3+ years experience (research, teaching, design/development) after M.E./M.Tech. (ECE, EEE, Applied Physics, Control Systems).
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech. (relevant field) with first class and NET/GATE score.
Note: M.E./M.Tech. (relevant field) with first class in both undergraduate & postgraduate Desirable Skills (for all positions).
Age Limit: Candidates must have not crossed the maximum age of 35 years of age for a Research Associate, and must have not crossed the maximum age of 28 years of age for a Junior Research Fellowship. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through an online interview conducted via video conferencing.
Remuneration:
Research Associate (RA): Rs. 67,000 monthly stipend and residential accommodation (or HRA).
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000 monthly stipend and residential accommodation (or HRA).
