Professor: 04 Vacancies

Scale of Pay: Level-14 (Rs. 37400-67000+GP 10,000/- pre-revised)

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 50 years.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent, from a recognized University in an appropriate discipline. (ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./ M.Tech. in a relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. (iii) Minimum 10 years experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Associate Professor.
Or
(iii) Minimum 13 years experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry.

Associate Professor in Information Technology: 02 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have a good academic record with First Class at M.Sc. level for Lecturer in Science or at M.A. level for Lecturer in Humanities. The requirement of the National Eligibility Test may be relaxed for candidates having First Class at Master’s level.
OR
Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University and candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professor conducted by the University Grants Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission.

Goa College Of Home Science
Principal: 01 Vacancy

Scale of Pay: Level 14 (Rs. 37400-67000+AGP:Rs. 10000/- + Spl. Allowance Rs. 4500/-)

Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 55 years.

Note: The term of appointment of the College Principal shall be five years with eligibility for re-appointment for one more term only after a similar selection committee process

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline. Professor/Associate Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges, and other Institutions of Higher Education. A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed journals as approved by Goa University from time to time or UGC-listed journals out of which at least two should be in Schpus/Web of Science Journal. Candidate must have a minimum of 110 Research Score as stipulated in Appendix II, Table 2 to the Statutes SC-16 on minimum qualifications for appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Colleges and other measures for the maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the specialty concerned. In the case of Diploma holders, Work in a responsible position connected with the specialty concerned for 2 years after the postgraduation Diploma.
