Railway Recruitment Boards, Ministry of Railways, Government of India to conduct selection process for various graduate and undergraduate level non-technical popular categories positions. Candidates will be selected on the basis of 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
The date, time and venue for CBTs, Typing Skill Test/Computer based Aptitude Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination or any other additional activity as applicable shall be fixed by the RRBs and shall be intimated to the eligible candidates.
Goods Train Manager: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Senior Clerk cum Typist: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, and Typing Skill Test, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Junior Account Assistant cum Typist: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, and Typing Skill Test, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Station Master: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, and Computer Based Aptitude Test, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Junior Clerk cum Typist: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, and Typing Skill Test, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Accounts Clerk cum Typist: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, and Typing Skill Test, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Trains Clerk: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, and Typing Skill Test, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Commercial cum Ticket Clerk: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, and Typing Skill Test, followed by Document Verification/Medical Examination.
There will be negative marking, and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer. The 1st Stage CBT is of screening nature. The normalized score of 1st Stage CBT shall be used for short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT as per their merit.

Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR40%, EWS- 40%, OBC (Non creamy layer)-30%, SC-30%, ST-25%. These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 Marks for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
The normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for short listing the candidates for document verification for the posts which do not have Typing Skill Test/Computer based Aptitude Test.
For the posts having Typing Skill Test/Computer based Aptitude Test, the normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for shortlisting the candidates for Typing Skill Test/Computer based Aptitude Test.
The merit list will be prepared from amongst the candidates qualifying in the CBAT, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in the 2nd Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in CBAT.
