    RRB NTPC Undergraduate Level Examination, to be held in 2025, has already made candidates across the country enthusiastic. With the window for applications now closed, candidates are waiting with bated breath for their admit cards and preparing themselves for the exam ahead. As the exam date approaches, it's only normal to wonder what comes after in the process. For any doubts and clarifications, we have come up with an exhaustive FAQ guide. Please have a look!

    1. How many pay levels are there in CEN No. 06/2024 for RRB NTPC UG level positions?


    There are two pay levels in CEN No. 06/2024 fro RRB NTPC - Undergraduate levels: Level-2 and Level-3.

    2. What are the stages involved in the RRB NTPC UG level exam?

    RRB NTPC - Undergraduate exam consists of the following stages:

    3. What do I do if I forget my login password?

    To retrieve your password, tap the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page. Enter your registered mobile number or email address and date of birth. You will be sent a new password in an email. You can use this password to log in and later change it using the 'Change Password' option.

    4. Can I reset my password?

    Yes, you can modify your password once you have logged in with your previous password. You can modify it subsequently with the help of 'Change Password' feature.

    5. Who is qualified to receive 'Free Travel Authority' (free Railway Pass)?

    Only Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are qualified for 'Free Travel Authority' (free Railway Pass).

    6. How do I apply for 'Free Travel Authority'?

    SC/ST candidates must choose 'Yes' from travel pass option while submitting their online application. They need to enter the nearest railway station and attach their Caste Certificate.

    7. How do I get free travel facility?

    Shortlisted SC/ST candidates will be given the 'Free Travel Authority' on their City Intimation Slip/e-call letter. They can utilize it to request for train reservation by producing a self-attested copy of e-call letter and SC/ST certificate at the counter.

    8. Who needs to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during Document Verification (DV)?

    Applicants who are Ex-Servicemen, Serving Railway Employees, or Serving Central/State Government/Public Sector employees are required to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the Document Verification.

    9. What is the benchmark disability rate for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities)?

    To be classified as a Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), the disability benchmark must be 40% or more.

    10. When will the Computer-Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) be held?

    • CBTST will be held after clearing 2nd Stage CBT, for those candidates who have applied for Account Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist vacancies.
    • Typing Skill Test (TST) is qualifying, requiring 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi.

    11. Which aspirants are eligible to avail the services of a scribe?

    Visually Impaired (VI) or physically disabled candidates with disability in writing ability like Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy or Locomotor Disability (one arm) with 40% or more disability are eligible for a scribe. Candidates with less than 40% disability and who have difficulty writing can also make use of this facility. Those who require a scribe will be eligible for compensatory time of at least 20 minutes for every hour of the examination.

    12. What is the refund policy? Who is entitled to a refund of the application fee?

    Applicants who appear for CBT (Computer-Based Test) are entitled to a refund of application fee, less bank charges. The application fee is non-refundable after payment and refunds will be given only to applicants who appear for CBT-1. Modification fees are non-refundable and no refunds will be given for incorrect, incomplete or rejected applications.

    13. How to check the RRB NTPC exam cut off?

    Applicants can view RRB NTPC cutoff 2024 in PDF on Indian Railways official zonal website. Following is the process to check RRB NTPC – Undergraduate level exam cut off easily.

    Step 1: Visit the official website of every zone.

    Step 2: On the home page, click on the RRB NTPC Cut Off.

    Step 3: Cut-off PDF will show up on the computer screen.

    Step 4: Save RRB NTPC cutoff PDF for future use.

    14. Can I apply for a scribe if I failed to enter the details in the online application?

    If you could not give information about the scribe during online application, you may still utilize the scribe services by providing required information at the CBT center. You are required to fill in the following forms:

    • Annexure V(D) for applicants with over 40% disability.
    • Annexure V(F) for candidates with disability less than 40%.
    • Annexure V(G) for execution, together with required details of the scribe.

    15. Are there any specific guidelines for candidates who have undergone Lasik or other corrective surgeries?

    • Applicants who have had LASIK surgery or any corrective treatment for refractive defects are not acceptable for Medical Standards A1, A2 or A3 (e.g., Trains Clerk).
    • Candidates are eligible for Medical Standards B1 & B2 posts, subject to fulfilling the conditions stated in Annexure VIII of CEN No. 06/2024.
    • LASIK or corrective procedure applicants are eligible for Medical Standards B-2 or C-2 posts, as per the terms in the Railway Board letter 2022/H/5/1/NER/Dalbir dated 25.08.2022.

    16. Can I change my scribe in case of an emergency?

    In an emergency situation, a change of scribe is permissible. You have to note the reason for change, complete the required details and affix the photograph of new scribe on Annexure V(G).

    17. When will the RRB NTPC admit card come out in 2025?

    Admit cards for RRB NTPC 2025 will be released 4 days prior to the exam date. It can be downloaded from their respective regional RRB website.

    18. When is the RRB NTPC Under-Graduate (UG) level exam scheduled to be held in 2025?

    RRB NTPC Under-Graduate (UG) level exam is expected to be conducted between April 15 to April 20, 2025. Exact date will be announced once the official schedule is out.
