    Yes, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are eligible for a free travel pass. The City Intimation Slip/e-call letter will contain free travel authority and candidates can use it for booking sleeper class train reservations.

    12. Who is eligible to apply for a scribe during the exam?

    Candidates with visual impairments, locomotor disabilities (such as one arm), cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy or intellectual disabilities (like Autism, specific learning disabilities or mental illness) can avail themselves of a scribe to assist them during the exam, provided their disability is greater than 40%.

    13. What is the benchmark disability percentage for PwBD candidates?

    To be eligible for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category, the disability must be 40% or more.

    14. What is the cut-off for the RRB NTPC exam?

    Applicants for Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist positions need to pass a qualifying Typing Skill Test, typing 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi, with relaxation for eligible PwBD candidates. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the second-stage CBT performance for the candidates who pass or are exempted from the TST.
