The Railway Recruiting Board (RRB) published its notification for the RRB Group D recruitment exam 2025 to employ 32,438 eligible candidates. The link for the online application is live from January 23, 2025, and will be active till February 22, 2025. Jobseekers eyeing for a job in the Indian Railways can take this opportunity. The RRB laid out its particular rules and regulations for applicants to follow while applying for the RRB Group D examination. The following are the documents required to be submitted, include:
Candidates vying for the RRB Group D jobs will go through four different stages of recruitment process.
This is the first stage of the recruitment process. Candidates will sit for a computer-based written exam. They will be asked 100 multiple choice questions across the domains of general awareness, arithmetic, reasoning, and general science. The computer based test is for 90 minutes duration (1 hour and 30 minutes). Candidates will be assigned an exam centre, which will be mentioned in the exam call letter/admit card. They will be communicated for the admit card download through their registered email ID and on the RRB official website.

Following the performance in the computer based exam, candidates will be called for a physical efficiency test three times the total vacancy community wise. Candidates scoring the minimum percentage of marks will be qualified to take this second stage. Candidates to qualify this round must pass the PET and fulfil the following criteria:

The third step in the RRB Level -1 recruitment process is document verification. Candidates who qualify for both the two stages - CBT and PET will be called for document verification. Candidates are required to produce the same photograph they uploaded during the application process for document verification. Candidate must produce all the documents in original form. All academic mark sheets or certificates, community certificates, birth certificates/proof of age, etc.
Candidates who are called for document verification must also fulfill the requisite medical fitness standard as maintained by the railway administration. This step is carried out to ensure the medical fitness of the candidates for carrying out the duties and responsibilities corresponding to the post they choose. The Railway administration lays out the Visual Acuity Standard as one of the vital criteria for a candidate's medical fitness for railway staff.
